New album: The Legion of Doom vs Triune
After a very long wait, our new album The Legion of Doom vs Triune has been released! The story behind this album’s release is a long one…suffice it to say that after holding onto it for way too long, our esteemed distributor has finally (and unceremoniously) unleashed it on the world. They were going to release CDs, but they didn’t. (Digital downloads only.) They were going to do some promotion, but they didn’t. (Not a peep, even on their website.) They’ve left it up to us to get the word out.
The story behind the album itself is a better one: We made a record with Triune — prolific rap battle veteran, member of Footsoldiers, and one of the premier emcees of the Los Angeles underground. Triune brought his rhymes and one-of-a-kind delivery, and some friends (Raphi, Motoe Blizzid, HS Couture, Xhale and Addicus Brown). We brought loads of samples from old public domain film soundtracks, original instrumentation and our signature Legion beats and production. This collision of talent and styles yielded a record that is part hip-hop, part trip-hop, part indie rap, part indie rock. Strange, dark, and densely layered, this is not a typical hip-hop record.
You can hear every track on our facebook page or our iLike page. Also check out our fancy new MySpace page.
The Legion of Doom vs Triune is available now from Amazon, iTunes, and most other major download providers.

Oh. I’m listening your new album, it’s not a dream? *_*
So many rap, I’m so surprised (may be because I don’t like rap? xD).
But I’ll listen your new album many times, because you’re good guys, and you make good music. Funny argument, yes.
Will albums be on sale in Russia?

Thanks a lot.
With love from.. of course Russia ^_^

I’m a little sad about the new cd because it is not the regular punk rock mashups that I have grown to love.
I can see you are going more for dark and ominous, but I loved the mashups with the killer beats with a injection of rap.
Tribune is a great rapper, but I still feel it is missing something.
By all means, I am going to get the cd, but its not going to be like Incorporated.
Also, if you read PushTheDarkness’s post in a Russian accent, it makes more sense and a little funnier than in just English.
